Dr. Steve Van Laecken, President |
 |
Dr. Steve has been married for 20 years to his beautiful wife, Lisa, with whom he has three wonderful daughters; Faith 16, Hope 14, and Grace 12. Dr. Steve believes that chiropractic is very powerful that healing occurs with touch and that is what chiropractic is all about. Chiropractic means “done by handâ€.So, not only does he treat his family on a regular basis but he is treated multiple times per week as well, so he can stay healthy.
Dr. Steve was born and raised in Minnesota. After being helped by a chiropractor in 1988 he decided at that point he wanted to do for others what he had experienced through chiropractic. Although it did not happen right away, it was always on his mind that he wanted to be a chiropractor. After staying in the family business for many years he decided to pursue his dream of helping people through chiropractic. He attended Parker Chiropractic College in Dallas, Texas where he took his studies very seriously and received many awards and certifications. Dr. Steve graduated from Parker Chiropractic College in December 2005 with his Doctorate in Chiropractic and a Bachelor of Science in Anatomy.
Dr. Steve is a very motivated chiropractor and believes that everyone should, at the very least, be checked out by a chiropractor. His dedication shows in that he is very involved and passionate about protecting chiropractic in order to have more people benefit from the care. He is active in the legislation process as well as a member of the two state chiropractic associations, including ACS and AAC. His goal is to bring the associations together to solidify the profession in order to get more people educated about chiropractic care instead of the often downward spiral of prescription drugs.
Dr. Steve enjoys, more than anything, spending time with his wife and kids. He especially likes playing laser tag with them, going to church and taking his family out to eat. Staying healthy is also important to him. He feels that if he can’t stay healthy, then how can he teach others to be healthy? Dr. Steve likes the office to be a place where people like to come and hopes that everyone who comes in will feel like they are home! |

Joceline was born in California but moved to Arizona when she was three years old. She grew up in a big cuban family and is very close with her brother, sister and all of her cousins. When she was younger she had bad asthema and just inhalers were not enough to help her lungs.
She decided to pay a visit to Spinal Works and started getting adjusted. With weekly visits her asthema started to go away and her lungs have become stronger and healthier. She realized that chiropractic is a natural and effective way to stay healthy and strong.
Joceline is now married to a man who has bad scoliosis and is in constant pain all the time. Since her husband has scoliosis and she knows the healing power of chiropractic, Dr. Steve gave her a great opportunity to work with him at Spinal Works. Dr. Steve is adjusting her husband and also doing therapies, we are seeing great results. She believes every one should look into a chiropractor for there well being.
Joceline is a Chiropractic assistant and front desk manager and loves working for Dr. Steve. More than anything she enjoys spending time with her friends and family. They all go on road trips to the lake to ride on the boat or to San Diego to spend time at the beach. She loves shopping at malls, and going to the movies. If you asked what her favorite food was you would get an answer of spaghetti. :D |
